Describa el trabajo que hace en la Credit Union.
I’m a Loan Consultant, so I help members achieve their financial goals. I work closely with other departments to ensure a smooth experience for everyone. I love what I do! It’s so rewarding to build relationships with our members on a daily basis.
¿Cuál fue su primer trabajo?
I worked at my cousin’s security company doing office work.
¿Cómo llegó a ser miembro del equipo de SCE Credit Union?
I was a senior banker at another financial institution in Duarte, California. I was recruited by Javier, the Duarte branch manager at the time – he’s now the Director of California Branches at our Credit Union. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Not only do I get the reward of working with members, but I’ve found a work family who’ve made such a difference in my life.
¿Qué le gusta hacer en su tiempo libre?
I love spending time with my two kids. They’re 16 and 19, going on 25! We have a blast together eating out, watching movies and making each other laugh. We’re joined by our German shepherd named RA, which means Egyptian Sun God. He’s 3 years old, quite a character, and the sweetest terror. My goal truly is to spread joy and see people happy. I’d love to open a center where families just show up and the kids could play outside, read, make new friends and not worry too much about life.
Además de Inglés, ¿habla algún otro idioma?
I speak Arabic, it was my first language. My parents taught me Arabic, and I taught them English. Along with their love, it was the best investment they ever made in me.

If you ever want something, don’t wait or wish for it. Just do it. always remember sometimes the hardest thing is just starting – as long as you’re moving forward, that’s your reward in life.
