Describe the work you do at the Credit Union.

As a Member Care Consultant my job is to assist members with their financial needs through inbound calls, email and chat. I provide members with personalized insights on our products and services, as well as helping with balance inquiries.

What was your first job?

My first job at the Credit Union was in the Member Care Center. I enjoy assisting people with their financial needs, I find it very rewarding. Our members count on me to deliver service with a smile.

How did you come to be an SCE Credit Union team member?

My background experience comes from working with Home Savings of America. I started in the Credit Card Department, then worked as a Mortgage Lending Consultant. My last role there was in their Real Estate Owned (REO) Department, preparing loan packages for second party investors. After Home Savings of America sold to Washington Mutual in Northridge, I found SCE Credit Union.

How do you spend your free time?

I have two grown children and two dogs. I spend my free time taking care of my husband and home. We like traveling, visiting national parks and taking long drives to scenic places. I also enjoy cooking and working on our home.

Do you speak any languages, other than English?

I don’t currently.

Inspiration from Virginia…

Be happy with who you are. Being happy doesn’t mean everything is perfect, but that you have decided to look beyond imperfections.
