What’s Early Payday?

Early Payday gives you access to your eligible direct deposits up to two days early.1 There’s no enrollment required and no fee. Once we receive information about your incoming direct deposit from your payor, we may make the funds available for your use up to two days earlier2 than your scheduled pay date.

How to get paid with direct deposit

  1. Your payor will need your account and routing numbers. You’ll find these by logging in to Digital Banking, selecting the account, and expanding Account Details on the Account History screen
  2. Your payor may have a form to complete to set it up on their payment system
  3. Monitor your account as it may take one or two pay periods before your direct deposit goes into effect – or set up an account alert

The day and time funds will be available will depend on when we receive information about your deposit from your payor, which can vary from deposit to deposit.1

Will funds from my direct deposit always arrive early?

Early availability isn’t guaranteed and may vary from deposit to deposit – including those from the same payor.

Whether we’re able to provide early availability depends on when we receive information from your payor that the funds are on the way, any limitations set on the amount of early availability, and standard fraud prevention screening.

1Incoming electronic direct deposits made through Automated Clearing House (ACH) are made available for use up to two days before the scheduled payment date. Not all direct deposits are eligible. Early availability of direct deposits is not guaranteed and may vary from deposit to deposit. Whether we make funds available early depends on when we receive the payor’s payment instructions, any limitations we set on the amount of early availability, and standard fraud prevention screening. Available for personal accounts only. 2Eligible direct deposits are limited to electronic direct deposits of items such as payroll, pension, and government benefit payments made through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) to your personal account.
